The basics of Photography explained.

Camera basics

Understanding your camera settings.

Bob, I want to thank you so much for your writing of the "Basics - How a Camera Works". I have been into photography for close to 30 years and after attending "classes" and reading books I was still unable to grasp the basic correlation between ISO / Aperture & Shutter Speed. Your writing has clarified so much for me - and is exactly what I have been looking for - simple explanations!

While I've had some good success with photography - Film & Digital (just got my first digital SLR Canon last year). . .this one point of not grasping those basics has always bothered me. So - with that said I offer again a very heartfelt - THANK YOU - for sharing these pointers with me!

Recent work took me to SWWAPS at Lasham.

This is a small area on the main road the Alton side of the entrance to Lasham Airfield in Hampshire UK.

Here there are a number of very interesting second world war aircraft and memorabilia for you to see.

Thank you very much to Aunty Janet and Uncle Rodney and family for arranging the fish and chips, the hall, tea and coffee. A very good idea and enjoyable event.
